About the System

The District operates two water plants. Water Plant Number One consists of one 1,500 gallons per minute (“gpm”) water well, 840,000 gallons of ground storage tank capacity, booster pumps totaling 4,500 gpm capacity, 40,000 gallons of pressure tank capacity, and appurtenant equipment. Water Plant Number Two consists of one 1,250 gpm water well, 500,000 gallons of ground storage tank capacity, booster pumps totaling 3,000 gpm capacity, 20,000 gallons of pressure tank capacity, and appurtenant equipment.

Permanent wastewater treatment for the entire Atascocita and Walden on Lake Houston developments (Harris County MUD Nos. 46, 106, 109, 132, 151, 152, 153, and 494) is provided by the Atascocita Central Wastewater Treatment Plant.
